David Jurak / Director
For over 20 years, I’ve been immersed in the building industry, starting out with a hands on trade background in Roof Plumbing and Carpentry. These foundations have given me not only practical skills but a deep respect for the process of building and understanding how every detail matters, from the structure’s bones to its final finish.
What’s always driven me, though, is more than just tools and timber. I’ve had a lifelong passion for architecture, design, and property. I’m fascinated by the way a thoughtfully designed space can influence how we live, work, and feel. It’s that connection between form and function that inspires every project I take on.
Over the years, I’ve worked on everything from small scale renovations to larger construction projects, and I’ve always believed in doing things the right way—with care, precision, and a commitment to quality. I love collaborating with clients, designers, and other trades to bring ideas to life, and I approach each build as if it were my own.
To me, it’s not just about construction, it’s about creating spaces with purpose. Whether it’s restoring character to an older home, building from the ground up, or exploring smart, sustainable design, I bring a combination of technical know-how and creative vision to everything I do.
Outside of work, I’m constantly exploring new trends in architecture and property development. I’m passionate about learning, improving, and staying inspired, because the best builders never stop evolving.

With over 18 years of experience in the insurance industry, I developed a deep understanding of project management, risk mitigation, and client relationships—progressing steadily into senior leadership and managerial roles. Throughout my career, I’ve always had a strong interest in property, construction, and the process of turning ideas into physical, lasting spaces.
Driven by that passion, I made the decision to pursue formal training in the building industry, completing the Certificate IV in Building and Construction. This marked a pivotal turning point, allowing me to combine my corporate experience with my enthusiasm for hands-on, results-driven work in the residential building sector.
As Director of DOJA HAUS, I bring a unique skill set to the table, balancing technical knowledge with strong communication, strategic planning, and team leadership. I work closely with clients, trades, and suppliers to ensure every project runs smoothly and to the highest standard.
I’m committed to building lasting relationships, delivering exceptional workmanship, and creating homes that reflect our clients’ needs, lifestyles, and vision. Whether it’s a new home, a renovation, or a custom project, I approach each build with professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
